White tea more effective than green tea

By Jack Robbins

White and green tea, both come from China and are plucked from the same Camilla sinensis tree that is ever prominent there. Whilst green tea has been enjoying fame over the past decade, a new revolution in weight loss is beckoning for the new kid on the block, White tea.

The two herbal teas find their differences in benefit and taste due to the way they are plucked from the Camilla sinensis plant. White tea is plucked at a very early stage when the leaves are still buds, while in the case of green tea the leaf is left to grow a little before it is then plucked.

There are a number of reasons that White tea is more beneficial than green tea. It won't be long before White tea replaces green tea as the tea for weight loss and anti aging enthusiasts.

White tea has remarkably shown to have much higher levels of radical fighting antioxidants than green tea. These are responsible for increasing metabolism rate, which in turn lets you lose weight while not doing any exercise at all.

White tea has a much more mellow and sweet taste as compared to green tea. Its delightful taste alone caused Chinese people to treat it as a delicacy available only to the upper class families. It makes it much easier to stick to a diet that includes white tea as more often than not you won't be able to wait for your next serving.

The caffeine levels in white tea are much less compared to green tea. Now, you can enjoy a refreshing drink without having to worry about any side effects of caffeine to your body.

White tea and cancer are two words you will hear a lot over the next few years. White tea has the unique ability as an alternate therapy towards cancer as it can inhibit cancer cells using the antioxidants present in it.

With so much gunning for white tea, you would now have even more reason to try it out and improve your lifestyle. - 16083
