Anxiety Or Panic Attacks Can Know be Treated Naturally

Anxiety & panic attacks often will occur during late adolescence and into early adulthood but some people will suffer from them all of there adult life. Women are twice as likely to suffer from them as men. It is estimated that some 2.4 million adult Americans have the attacks.

*Symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack are:

*A feeling of labored breathing.

*Increased heart rate & pains in the chest.

*A feeling of fear.

*A chocking or smothering feeling.

*Dizziness or feeling faint.

*Trembling or shaking.

*Increased perspiration.

*Nausea or stomachache.

*Tingling or numbness in the fingers and toes.

*Chills or feeling hot.

*A fear that you are losing control or are about to die.

The exact cause of panic & anxiety attacks is unclear. These attacks have been shown to run in families. They can be passed on by one or both parents. A stressful event can trigger an attack.

Treatment for panic or anxiety disorder can include psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or medications like the anti-depressant drug Xanax or Klonopin. Beta blockers which fall into the category of heart medications are also used to adjust an irregular heartbeat.

With the right treatment 90% of people will get relief. With some people the attacks will resurface later in life after they have stopped treatment. Some people never seek treatment for there anxiety or panic attacks so the exact number of suffers is really just a guess. There are so really good non-drug techniques that have came about recently that are helping thousands of people.

There are some things you can do to reduce stress and help with the symptoms like: stopping or reducing your intake of caffeine which can be found in coffee, tea, cola and chocolate. Also check with a doctor or pharmacist before taking any over-the counter medications or herbal remedies because they can contain chemicals that can increase anxiety or panic attack symptoms.
